Also, as of the above date, the program details for the Broadband Maritime Offshore & Oceanic 2012: Information & Communications Networking Mobility South East Asia conference element of the ‘Maritime Insights’ initiative—an initiative which is designed to promote and advance optimisation in the use of broadband solutions for seafarers, and to bring together the programs of the GVF Maritime Satcom Forum and InterManager have been announced as Stream 1 and Stream 2.
This is the 6th event in the GVF-EMP conference series on maritime broadband communications, and, as in previous years, will be recorded to video for webcasting by MarineBizTV. The extended ‘Maritime Insights’ dialogue brings together discussion of both satellite broadband-supported information and communications technologies (ICTs) and applications that fulfil mission-critical needs in the maritime sector, together with shipping industry discussion of its Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Standards.
