MITEQ And MCL To Show And Tell At MILCOM

October 20, 2011

[SatNews] MILCOM is just around the corner, November 7-10th, and companies have been preparing…

Word comes from MITEQ Inc. and MCL Inc., who will be at MILCOM in booth 1146 at the Baltimore Convention Center, in Baltimore, Maryland. This event features an impressive array of product displays and demonstrations, professional development courses, keynote speeches and the opportunity to network with thousands of industry professionals. There are expanded descriptions of all the following products at.

Weatherproof Ka-Band Low Noise Amplifier
Weatherproof Ka-Band Low Noise Amplifier: Model AMFW-7F-17702130-120-23P-WP is MITEQs newest addition to its family of high-performance waveguide LNAs, and is a very low noise, high dynamic range weatherproof Ka-band front end, operating 17.7 to 21.3 GHz. With isolator protected and pressure sealed WR-42 waveguide input and K(F) connector output, in addition to being lightweight, this low-noise amplifier has a small profile and footprint. The aluminum alloy housing is sealed against most severe environmental conditions and also fully EMI shielded. More…

18-40 GHz Low-Noise/Medium Power Amplifier: Model JS3-18004000-40-15P is a state-of-the-art low-noise medium power amplifier with only 4 dB maximum noise figure and +15 dBm P1dB. This model has a gain of 32 dB minimum in a small hermetically sealed package with field replaceable K-connectors. MIL-883 screening is also available. More…

3W Wideband GaN PA 12V Operation and With Heat Sink With Fans: Model AMFG-3F-00030300-60-33P-HS-12V is another GaN power amplifier. High impedances of these devices allow for excellent port match and gain flatness over very wide bandwidths. Inherent robustness of the device technology enables these amplifiers to withstand very high base temperatures or surges in RF or DC power without compromising their reliability. A severe limitation has been the high voltage requirement that may be incompatible with many existing systems. More…

26-40 GHz Low-Noise/Medium Power Amplifier: Model JS4-26004000-27-10P is a state-of-the-art low-noise medium power amplifier with only 2.7 dB maximum noise figure and +10 dBm P1dB. This model has a gain of 28 dB minimum in a small hermetically sealed package with field replaceable K-connectors. More…

Compact, Ka-Band Gain Controlled Amplifier, 20-26 GHz: Model AMF-3F-20002600-68-20P-GC model has been added to its family of rugged, single bias coaxial amplifiers. This amplifier has over 23 dB of gain from 20 GHz to 26 GHz, in a housing that is only 1¨ long and 0.83¨ wide without the field replaceable K-connectors. Application of +5V to the gain control pin decreases gain by 10 dB while maintaining flatness. Gain flatness is a maximum of ?1.5 dB, though typical is ±1 dB. More…

Energy Efficient Outdoor TWTAs: MCL´s MT3400 and MT4400 Outdoor TWT Amplifiers have already been described as reliable, rugged, and economical solutions for satellite uplink applications. You can now add “energy efficient” to that list. The MT3400 is available with a 400W linear TWT, drawing 1100 Watts as opposed to 1500 Watts, while the MT4400 offers a 750W linear TWT, drawing 2000 Watts versus 2400 Watts. These new TWT options are only offered in Ku-band at this time. More…

Airborne HPA: MCL, Inc., a MITEQ Company, introduces its newest member of the outdoor TWTA family, the MT2100. Providing industry-leading efficiency, this amplifier was engineered to support airborne applications. The rugged ultra compact design weighs 25 pounds and can be adapted to military flight qualification requirements. More…

HF through RF Ultra Small and Low Noise Coaxial LNA: Model AMF-2F-00100200-16-15P is a new addition, to its family of extremely low noise and ultra small coaxial LNAs in the 0.1-2 GHz band. This LNA has over 30 dB of gain in a housing that is only 1.22¨ long and 0.88¨ wide without the field-replaceable SMA connectors. Gain flatness is a maximum of ±1 dB, though typical is ±0.75 dB. More…

Low Noise Ka-Band Amplifier: Model JS3-18002200-15-10P is a state of the art low noise Ka-band amplifier with only 1.5 dB maximum noise figure and 26 dB minimum gain in a small thematically sealed Kovar chassis with field replaceable K-connectors. More…
