Latitude Technologies… Canadian Griffons Get SkyNode (MILSATCOM)

[SatNews] Latitude Technologies has been awarded the contract to supply up to 95 of its SkyNode(r) S200 satellite communication systems for the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) CH-146 Griffonhelicopter fleet.

SkyNode® satcom systems are already field proven on Aerial fire attack, SAR, EMS and Law Enforcement tactical operations worldwide. Latitude will supply the Canadian Forces with a complete end-to-end secure voice and robust data communication solution that will be operational everywhere and under all conceivable environmental extremes ranging from -45° C to +70° C temperatures. In addition to its durability, Latitude’s SkyNode® equipment and the Sentinel™ software management system were chosen due to their built-in safety functions, small form factor, and amazing versatility including real-time flight monitoring, auto alerts, voice calling, multiplatform messaging, data distribution, and remote configurability.
