[SatNews] With a theme focused on vertical markets, Thuraya is showcasing at GITEX 2010 a variety of specialized data, maritime, aviation, and voice solutions — all designed to meet the needs of the Company’s growing customer base in the broadcast media, defense, NGOs, maritime and oil and gas sectors.
As part of its display at Zabeel Hall, Thuraya will be providing live demonstrations of its cutting-edge portfolio of products allowing customers to experience their advanced capabilities first hand. Users will be able to view live video-streaming feeds via the world’s smallest satellite broadband solutions, Thuraya IP, as well as Internet browsing. This is in addition to Thuraya Marine and the world’s toughest satellite phone, Thuraya XT, which appealed to the SATCOM industry since its launch last year. The Company will also be exhibiting several innovations, such as tailor-made maritime solutions Seagull 5000 and Comtech maritime terminal designed for broadband use. Additionally, Thuraya will be showcasing its Aviation narrowband unit alongside the Company’s sleek handhelds.
