A quick note to all that the SatNews offices will be closed on Monday, July 5th, as all of us celebrate our nation’s Independence Day weekend.
To those in the United States, Independence Day should remind us of the dynamic history and successful search for freedoms for our country. The endeavors of those who preceeded us resulted in a firm foundation of beliefs for the founders of the United States of America.
To those that serve to maintain these invaluable freedoms, from the military services to local law enforcement and first responders, thank you for your service, your willingness to endure the most trying of hardships, and all of your sacrifices. The struggle to remain free and maintain independent values is not without supreme cost, and all must remain ever vigilent.
Little did our country’s Founding Fathers realize that their work with parchment paper, quill and ink, written by the light of candles, articulating a new nation’s values and freedoms to the world, would be the forerunner of the most sophisticated satellite communications across the globe.
Happy Fourth of July to all! God bless America.
