All products support audio/video systems using HDMI v1.4a connectivity including 3DTV pass-through, and are equipped with a locking HDMI connector to eliminate cable disconnects in the field. One of two custom finishes, glossy cream, or flat black, are offered for each ToolBox product, providing an attractive, cost-effective alternative to rack-mounted systems for installers operating in the field. All switchers include Gefen’s proprietary Fast Switching Technology (FST) for zero latency when switching between various hi-def sources. All products include HDMI cables.
- Splitters for HDMI v1.3 — The 1:4 and 1:8 Splitters for HDMI v1.3 deliver one hi-def source to either four or eight HDTV displays using the expanded HDMI v1.3 format, with support for 3DTV, deep color, lip sync, Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio. Users can select either two-channel or multi-channel 7.1 audio. A switch for internal or external EDID ensures a steady signal transmission to all eight displays at all times
- Switcher for HDMI v1.3 — The 4×1 Switcher for HDMI v1.3 gives one HDTV display access to four hi-def sources at the same time. Users switch between sources using an IR remote or front panel selector. Fast Switching Technology (FST) ensures an instant delivery of resolutions up to 1080p full HD with 3DTV, deep color and multi-channel audio
- Matrixes for HDMI v1.3 — The 4×4 Matrix for HDMI v1.3 connects four hi-def sources to four HDTV displays, with users assigning each source to a display using the RS-232 connection, IR remote or front panel selector. The 4×2 Matrix for HDMI v1.3 connects four hi-def sources to two HDTV displays, with true matrix switching enabled. Both offer Fast Switching Technology (FST) for an instant delivery of audio and 1080p full HD video with 3DTV capability
- 3DTV Extender for HDMI v1.3 — This product offers an “extra long range” extension of 1080p full HD with 3DTV, multi-channel audio and IR remote up to 330 feet (100m) in distance using just one CAT-5 cable. Small sender and receiver units are connected to the local hi-def source and remote HDTV display. One CAT-5 cable links local and remote locations, sending audio and video with 3DTV support for an unbeatable high quality picture
