Insprit (KOSDAQ: 073130; OTCBB: INSSY), along with Enspert (KOSDAQ: 098400), formerly known as Inbrics, will unveil the 2G of their SoIP Homestation, the S2, at the International CTIA Wireless Show, Las Vegas, NV. In addition, the Company reported a substantial contract award from KT Corporation (NYSE: KTC), formerly Korea Telecom, for the commercialization of the device later this year.
The S2 Homestation is an Android-based 3Screen Media Convergence Device that allows seamless provision and sharing of digital multimedia contents from mobile phones, IPTV, PC (web), Home Network and Security. Uniquely equipped with a detachable 7-inch Color TFT-LCD Display (WVGA, 800×480) Touch Screen, and a 1.3M Pixel (swivel-angle enabled) camera, the S2 Homestation integrates various content from the Internet, broadcasting, Intranet, PC and/ or mobile phones. Content such as games, location-based services, real-time transportation information, shopping, banking, video calls, IPTV controls and much more, are all integrated via WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, DETC and/or Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.
Under the terms of the contract with KT, The S2 Homestation will distributed for mass commercialization to the Korean market in during the second half of 2010. KT Corporation provides telecommunication services including local, long distance, and international calling, satellite communication, data transmission, and wireless telephone services in South Korea. The Company also offers network portal and high-speed Internet access services using asymmetric digital subscriber lines (ADSLs).
