Juniper Networks — Mobility Stability (digiGO!™)

Juniper will be demo’ing its new solutions that address mobile operators’ immediate need to optimize and secure traffic, reduce complexity in their mobile networks and provide a path for seamless migration from 3G to 4G and LTE networks at CTIA WIRELESS 2010.

Juniper will be presenting a number of its core solutions from its ‘Project Falcon‘ initiative and new mobility framework, unveiled last month at Mobile World Congress and based on the Junos(r) software platform and Juniper’s MX 3D Series Universal Edge Routers, including:

• Juniper Traffic Direct: To reduce network congestion, Juniper’s Traffic Direct –
• the first solution from Juniper’s ‘Project Falcon’ initiative –
• optimizes mobile data traffic by combining intelligent subscriber and application policies with MX 3D Series scaling to offload bulk data traffic directly to the Internet, resulting in a better mobile experience.
• Juniper Media Flow: Juniper Media Flow optimizes mobile and fixed networks for fast, efficient video and rich media delivery –
• enabling a TV-like experience on smartphones and other mobile devices, while yielding TCO reductions for mobile operators.
• Juniper Mobile Secure and Junos Pulse: Juniper’s Mobile Secure solution enables service providers to embed security throughout their infrastructure — across mobile devices, applications and networks. Mobile Secure delivers secure user experiences at unprecedented scale based on the world’s fastest SRX Series Services Gateways and industry-first Junos Pulse client software, ensuring broad device support, investment optimization and service enablement.

Juniper will also demonstrate its latest joint efforts with IBM and Nokia Siemens Networks. Working with IBM, Juniper will showcase an interoperable service delivery platform and networking solution that is based on Juniper’s Junos Space and IBM’s Service Provider Delivery Environment (SPDE) framework, which allows IBM and Juniper partners, including content/application providers, to have network-wide visibility and control and to gain powerful access to dynamic network intelligence — enabling new services, new experiences and new business models. Also at Juniper’s booth (#6405, North Hall), conference attendees can view a presentation highlighting Juniper’s partnership with Nokia Siemens Networks to provide carrier Ethernet solutions.
