Thales Communications has appointed Michael Sheehan as the Company’s new Chief Executive Officer and President, and his new position follows the planned retirement of Mitch Herbets, the CEO and President of the Company since 2000. Mr. Sheehan takes over Thales’ U.S. commuications business following a decade of singificant growth and successful business milestones. He brings to the role more than 27 years of industry experience to Thales. He most recently served as a senior executive wth Cobham’s Avionics business and he has held positions with DRS Technologies, Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems.
