SAT Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Integral Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:ISYS), has been selected by Argentina’s Empresa Argentina de Soluciones Satelitales (AR-SAT) to provide Satellite
Monitoring and Interference Detection and Analysis System in support of its ARSAT-1 satellite and ground stations.
Scheduled for launch in 2012, the ARSAT-1 satellite will be the first communications satellite
designed and manufactured in Argentina. Under the terms of the contract, SAT Corporation, supported by its
sister company Integral Systems Europe UK, will also provide a set of Ku- and and C-band and CSM service antennas for ground stations located in Benavidez and Bosque Alegre, Argentina. In addition to ARSAT-1, AR-SAT plans to build and launch a fleet of two additional Satellites.
Using SAT Corporation’s Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology, Monics is a state of the art radio frequency monitoring system that will provide automatic monitoring of AR-SAT’s carriers. The System
provides carrier monitoring and interference detection in a fraction of the time of a classic spectrum analyzer. In addition, Monics’ unique algorithms automatically detect, characterize, and display interfering signals, and allow results to be viewed at any time.
