SED Systems has introduced the 2G of its popular
Decimator family of L-band spectrum analyzers. The Decimator D2 is a high performance spectrum analyzer featuring an improved browser-based GUI and also
provides all of the features you would expect from a high-end spectrum analyzer.
Users can display, compare, store, report and export multiple traces. Preset configurations can be saved and recalled later for ease of measurement. It also includes sophisticated marker capabilities. The increased dynamic range of the D2 allows measurement of very small input signals, even in the presence of much larger carriers. The Decimator is the smallest spectrum analyzer card available on the market. At 4”x7” it is easily
integrated into any small enclosure or chassis and powered from +12/+5 Vdc. Alternately, it can be
installed in the PCI slot of any PC chassis.
Decimator uses state of the art digital technology and Fast Fourier Transformations to make quick and accurate measurements. The Decimator accepts L-band signals from 950 to 2,150 MHz and input power levels ranging from –110 dBm to + 5 dBm and can operate at RBW down to 4 Hz. All data communications with the Decimator occurs via its
built-in Ethernet port, allowing the powerful user interface to be displayed using any web browser.
No additional software is required. Decimator can be accessed from any location that is connected
to the network. It can be operated locally or remotely using any web browser or network
management application via the publicly available API.
