Globecomm Systems Inc. [NASDAQ: GCOM], has been awarded a contract from a multi-national organization for satellite ground terminals, valued at approximately $27 million. Globecomm provides satellite-based communications infrastructure solutions and services on a global basis, this contract includes the design and development of the system as well as:- Production and integration of new ground terminals and upgrade kits for existing terminals.
- Management of the project.
- Testing and hand-over of the systems.
- Supply of tools and test equipment.
- Supply of documentation.
- Training of users and maintainers.
