ASC Signal Corporation, (formerly Andrew Corporation Satellite Communications Group), launched their 4.6 Meter Trifold® Transportable antenna. The antenna is F-1 and E-2 Ka-band compliant, and available to customers around the world. Developed specifically to meet a wide range of regulatory standards, including INTELSAT®’s standard F-1 and E-2 specifications, ASC Signal’s 4.6 Meter antenna compliments the popular ASC Signal 3.7 meter and 4.5 meter Trifold® antenna products. This new antenna is Ka-band compliant, designed for C- and Ku-bands, and can be used worldwide in transportable applications serving high-density data, voice, and communications networks. In addition, this 4.6 meter product provides 1.5 dB of gain over a 3.9 meter antenna. Distributed across the globe, this antenna uses the technologically advanced Trifold® reflector, which is cut from a single piece of precision spun aluminum. It features interchangeable feeds, as well as dual skin reflectors for superior rigidity and lower RMS. With its industry-proven tracking and non-tracking controllers, this antenna also has a patent pending dual azimuth drive, created for unsurpassed accuracy.
