DELIVERY — Arqiva is supporting the launch of ‘Military History’ — the latest channel from The History Channel —onto the UK Sky direct-to-home platform, starting on July 28th, 2008. The five-year contract will see Military History benefit from full playout services from Arqiva‘s Chalfont Grove facility, which will also uplink the channel onto the company’s Eurobird satellite capacity. Arqiva will also provide the channel with an advanced graphical overlay package, voiceover facilities and full digital archiving of the channel’s content. -

BUSINESS — Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: GCOM) has announced that the Company has been awarded multiple contracts from a global multilateral organization valued at approximately $9.1 million. Pursuant to the contracts, Globecomm will provide the customer with several fixed terminals and mobile communication trailers. These systems, when deployed, will enable the customer to communicate with a central command center from anywhere in the world. Globecomm anticipates completing deliveries on these contracts by the Company’s fiscal second quarter ending December 31, 2008.

DELIVERY — Intelsat, Ltd. transmitted the three most watched programs in Spanish TV history to millions of viewers during the broadcast of Spain’s appearances in the final rounds of June’s Euro 2008 soccer championship. Viewership peaked at 17.89 million during the final match. Intelsat provided Spain’s Telefonica S.A.’s broadcast unit, Telefonica Servicios Audiovisuales, fully managed, on-site uplink services using a pool of Intelsat managed equipment and personnel. These services included Multiple Channel Per Carrier (MCPC) support of simultaneous HD and SD transmissions from the international broadcasting center in Vienna. In addition, Ku-band capacity on the Intelsat 905 satellite located at 335.5° E was used for HD and SD transmissions of the matches and programming originating live from the international broadcasting center throughout the duration of the event. Intelsat also provided backup C-band capacity on the Intelsat 7 satellite located at 68.5° E for the pivotal knock-out matches of the championship. - DELIVERY — RRsat Global Communications Network Ltd. (NASDAQ: RRST) has signed an agreement with WatchIndia TV, a popular video platform which enables live and on demand broadcasting of well-known Indian TV stations worldwide. Watchindia TV is a subscription-based service which enables the global Indian expats to watch local Indian channels and programming through the Internet. WatchIndia TV is a subsidiary of Live Asia TV. According to this agreement, RRsat will provide Watchindia TV with various transmission services including downlinking, turnaround, playout, and Internet connectivity. Using RRSAT’s transmission services, Watchindia TV will be able to extend its platform and offer its more than 500 thousand users with additional live and on-demand channels broadcast from India.
