Integral Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISYS) today announced that John B. Higginbotham has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer and joined the Board of Directors effective immediately as the company completed its planned transition of Interim CEO Alan Baldwin to his prior role on the Board of Directors. Higginbotham, who founded SpaceVest Capital (now RedShift Ventures), a recognized private equity firm for the space industry, will benefit from the success that Baldwin achieved in re-establishing the Company as a premier provider of satellite ground systems solutions to both the commercial and government sectors. Over the past year, Baldwin hired several key executive leaders and established processes and controls to support the Company’s growth strategy and business plan. He was instrumental in further integrating Integral’s subsidiary companies, enabling the Company to capitalize on the synergies that enhance its ability to succeed in a very competitive market space.
