INTOREL has also debuted a new, intelligent, monitoring solution that allows easy and reliable monitoring of various alarms. Called the AlarmOn, this system is for monitoring alarms received from digital input devices that are based on the ModBus communication protocol. The product, whose foundation is the proven Visionic technology allows for fast integration and monitoring of digital sensors, switches, industrial input modules, status indicators, remote transducers or similar devices. The company is offering AlarmOn monitoring software with the optimal and tested hardware platform – MOXA expandable remote I/O solutions for data acquisition and control. You can also use any other Modbus compliant device to connect with AlarmOn. AlarmOn is available for online purchase and you can download a 60 day trial version from the company’s previously mentioned, new website.

The company is also beta-testing new spectrum analyzer software that will be featured in the upcoming Visionic version. Plus, this new Visionic element can be used independently without Visionic, as well as fully integrated into it. Users will have full and complete control of the instrument over even unreliable networks. The user can visualize, on the central station some or all instruments on the network. The software is integrated with an RF switch controller, VisLogger, and some automatic / timer actions (all provided out-of-the-box); system engineers can easily build carrier-monitoring system. The software will also report an alarm when the spectrum analyzer detects the loss of carrier, informing the users that the down or up-link path is broken and needs attention. The software presents the status of all spectrum analyzers in the company on one monitor, allowing for the easy monitoring of assets. The device driver is currently adapted for Agilent (E44xx series) and Rhode & Schwarts FS300 spectrum analyzers.
