BIG Broadcasting from Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, one of India’s top 3 private sector enterprises, has joined Asia’s broadcast satellite AsiaSat 3S for their bouquet of TV channels, which will serve millions of Indians. Asia Satellite Telecommunications Co. Ltd. (AsiaSat) stated an agreement has been signed for one C-band transponder on AsiaSat 3S. Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group‘s services will include general entertainment channels, movie channels, and music channels across various languages and will also offer a host of differentiated offerings.
SES NEW SKIES has announced Chinese Satellite Communications Inc. (CSTV) will be provided with transponder capacity on the NSS-6 satellite for their A-Sky-Net direct-to-home (DTH) satTV service targeting the Australian Region. The service currently offers a mix of channels geared to a wide range of ethnic Chinese viewers. The service will initially use a full transponder. The DTH package will be uplinked from Taiwan and will be able to be received throughout Australia—The Hague, The Netherlands
