Satlynx, a GE Company now has available a range of Maritime VSAT services across its portfolio of platforms including SCPC, and shared and dedicated TDMA hubs. Satlynx already has a variety of customers using stabilised maritime antenna platforms, from a global fleet of FPSO vessels to fishing boats from Iceland. Availability and coverage of these new services are defined by the service areas of Satlynx’s platforms. Based on different satellites operating at Ku-, extended-Ku- and C-band frequencies, footprints are extensive across the EMEA region and include Africa and its west coast, an area of the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea, the Baltic Sea, the Mediterranean, and the Gulf of Oman. Inland, coverage includes the waterways of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (MENA). Global coverage is currently provided via SCPC technology on dedicated bandwidth. Satlynx provides full end-to-end design, build and operate solutions for its customers as well as offering wholesale services to specialised value-added resellers. An appropriate subset of the latest stabilized antenna systems are supported as well as a wide choice of service classes and flexible options for increasing bandwidth and performance.—Luxembourg
