Soaring gas prices apparently aren’t of concern to MEDIA BROADCAST… their latest transaction with ND SatCom, an SES ASTRA company, involves a new fleet of SNGs. MEDIA BROADCAST, a German radio and media service provider formerly known as T-Systems Media & Broadcast, ordered nine redundant SNG (Satellite News Gathering) vehicles for its fleet. The vehicles are HD-ready and will be used primarily for live sports broadcasting. The vehicles are equipped with SkyRAY MAS 1900 antenna subsystems as satellite uplinks; some include 750 Watt outdoor High Power Amplifiers. Six of the vehicles are ND SatCom classicSNGs mainly used for uplinking services.
