Edward D. Horowitz, the president and CEO of SES AMERICOM, has resigned from the company in order to pursue other opportunities with Global Entertainment and Media Holdings Corporation. Romain Bausch, SES Chief Executive and Chairman of the SES AMERICOM board, together with members of AMERICOM’s Management Committee, will execute the firm’s business strategies until a successor is appointed. Mr. Bausch said, “Ed was instrumental in the further integration of SES AMERICOM into the SES family and in developing new market areas, such as IP-PRIME. We thank Ed for his contribution to SES over the past three years, and wish him continued success in his future endeavors.
