A Change of Command Ceremony has been held at The Space Development and Test Wing at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico… Colonel Kevin McLaughlin has relinquished command to Colonel B. Edwin Wilson. Officiating the ceremony was Lt. Gen. Michael Hamel, the Commander of the Space and Missile Systems Center at Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo, California. Col. Wilson’s previous assignment was Commander, Space Operations Group. His other assignments included Deputy Commander of the 50th Operations Group, Commander of the 1st Space Operations Squadron at Shriever Air
Force Base, Colorado, and various positions at the National Reconnaissance Office. Col. McLaughlin’s next assignment is Vice Commander at the US Air Force Warfare Center at Nellis AFB.
