Tough Job, But Someone’s Gotta Go to Hawaii for SatTraining
All volunteers, please step forward. Usually “volunteering” is not a good thing! However, in this case, Hawaii Pacific Teleport, an independent teleport in the Pacific Ocean region, is launching their new training business called Hawaii Satellite Center (HSC). The first course is a satellite technology appreciation course entitled Satcom Essentials. The course will be conducted over a two-day weekend at the Hawaii Pacific Teleport complex in Kapolei, Hawaii. The first course is scheduled for the weekend of May 31st, and is limited to 60 participants. The series consists of three sessions run simultaneously covering satellite theory and regulation, satellite services marketing and business opportunities and a hands on equipment course. Those instructing include industry authors and resource persons—Kapolei, Hawaii
