Spacenet Brings Cisco SatGoodies to Government Folk

Spacenet Inc. has signed a teaming agreement with Arrowhead Global Solutions, a subsidiary of CapRock Communications. Spacenet has been expanding its presence in the government market with the launch of new targeted product offerings, the award of a GSA schedule 70 contract, and a number of new large scale government customers at federal, state, and local levels. The new agreement will enable Arrowhead to offer Spacenet’s Cisco integrated Connexstar satellite services, including carrier-class voice, secure data transmission, and two-way video communications—all in a pre-packaged off-the-shelf solution. Spacenet in turn will serve as a sub-contractor on various Arrowhead government contract vehicles. Together Arrowhead and Spacenet will offer government clientele a broader range of mission critical communication services including fixed and transportable solutions for rapid deployment and disaster recovery; and continuity of operations planning (COOP) connectivity—McLean, Virginia
