New from Miteq are a duo of new products. First, MCL’s MT2300 outdoor TWT amplifier is a low-power, cost-effective, reliable solution able to meet any satellite uplinking requirement.Weighing less than 32 lbs., the MT2300 TWTA is available for Ku-band applications (13.75-14.50 GHz) at 125 or 200W, or Ka-band applications (27.5-31 GHz) at 40/100 PK, 70/150 PK, 70/180 PK. The MT2300 is designed to meet MIL-188-164 and features an extensive diagnostic capability, along with continuous attenuator adjustment in dB and auto power control and status. This compact TWTA can also be customized to include such options as an L-Band block upconverter, ethernet control, or an internal linearizer. Redundancy is available in 1:1, phase-combined, or custom configurations.
The second debut is their 9800 Series, just added to their Frequency Converters product line, designed for advanced satcom systems. A wide variety of frequency plans are available. Phase noise, amplitude flatness and spurious outputs have been optimized to provide transparent frequency conversion for all video and data applications. A strong feature set of monitor and control functions supports powerful local and remote control.
