- Eutelsat has signed a deal with Tele Columbus, one of Germany’s largest cable ops, for capacity on the former’s Eurobird 9 sat. DTV and other services for German customers will be provided by this sat which is located close to Eutelsat’s Hot Bird position. Tele Columbus subscribers number around 3.7 million.
