Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat) will hold an information symposium for its clients in the Moroccan Kingdom at Hilton Hotel in Rabat on Monday, December 15th. Arabsat President and Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Khaled bin Ahmed Balkhiyoor, stated that the symposium will be attended by Arabsat clients in the Moroccan Kingdom. He voiced hope that they will become acquainted with Arabsat’s latest requirements, and they’ll be briefed on developments in the field of satellite broadcasting as well as Arabsat’s present and future projects.
The symposium is also aimed at briefing clients on the future plans for launching satellites at the rate of one satellite per year until 2011. The Arabsat fleet of satellites will become one of the most advanced fleets in the region. Engineer Balkhiyoor further elaborated that Arabsat will continue to implement all its strategic plans aiming at owning and operating the most sophisticated satellites. He added Arabsat is currently finalizing its efforts for the launch of its satellite Badr–6 by Arianespace in the next few months—Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
