Integral Systems Europe (ISE) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Integral Systems, Inc. [NASDAQ:ISYS] and they have received a contract to provide a fully integrated Carrier Signal Monitoring (CSM) and transponder planning system for RascomStar-QAF (AKA Mission Control) and their Rascom-QAF 1 satellite. This turnkey system will include products from Integral Systems’ wholly owned subsidiaries SAT Corporation as well as NewPoint Technologies.
The initial system will consist of one main site, located in Cameroon. It will include SAT Corporation’s Monics carrier monitoring and interference detection system for one C- and two Ku-band beams. Plus, Optimal Satcom will provide a transponder management system. Globecomm Systems, Inc., has been selected as a subcontractor for the two RF and antenna systems. NewPoint Technologies’ Compass network management system will monitor and control all of the equipment. Low risk implementation and short delivery schedule are assured, thanks to the products having been used by ISE on previous programs, such as Thuraya and HellasSat—Lanham, Maryland
