Radyne Corporation [NASDAQ:RADN) has received orders totaling $1.6 million for modems in support of the Ground Multi-band Terminal (GMT) program as well as for another military communications program. The orders were from a major military communications integrator. The orders will ship during the next four months. The GMT program is a multi-year program for the U.S. Air Force. Each GMT satellite communications system is contained in transit cases and is capable of repeated tactical deployments worldwide. The systems are designed to operate in the Department of Defense (DoD)/Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) X-band and Ka-band modes, as well as with commercial C-band and Ku-band satellites. Radyne’s Xicom Technology business unit supplies amplifiers for this program as well—Phoenix, Arizona
