Rear Admiral Robert C. “Willie” Williamson, United States Navy (Ret) will serve as the chairperson of the Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium (NCOIC) and will lead the organization for the next year. Lieutenant Colonel Terrence C. “Terry” Morgan, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret) of Cisco will support him as vice chairman.
Williamson works in London for Raytheon Company and is the Consortium’s first chairperson to be based in Europe. He succeeds Lieutenant General Harry D. Raduege, Jr., U.S. Air Force (Ret) of Deloitte & Touche LLP, who becomes NCOIC chairman emeritus with the conclusion of his chairmanship. Admiral Williamson is vice president of international programs for Raytheon Company Network Centric Systems’ multi-billion dollar global communications business. During his 36-year military career, Williamson was senior military advisor to the U.S. Secretary of the Navy. He commanded the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz and the John F. Kennedy Carrier Battle Group, and served as the Navy’s military deputy assistant secretary of research, development and acquisition.
Terry Morgan is director of network centric strategy for Cisco’s Global Government Solutions Group. Morgan engages global leaders in discussing the application of net-centric principles to their defense and security sectors. Morgan is a 24-year U.S. Marine Corps officer who has commanded an artillery battalion, served as the Marine Forces Europe’s assistant chief of staff operations and as a United Nations military observer in Lebanon—Washington, D.C. & London, United Kingdom
