SkyWave Mobile Communications has exceeded sales of 110,000 terminal units at the close of its most successful year to date. Bolstered by the recent launch of the DMR-800D terminal and the SkyWave IsatM2M network service, the company has shipped more than 30,000 units this year alone, representing a growth of 40 percent year-over-year.
This year also marks the company’s 10th anniversary, establishing SkyWave as the only D+ network operator with more than 10 years in operation. Developed to meet increasing market demand, SkyWave’s next-generation IsatM2M service is built on enhancements to its trusted D+ network service. The new DMR-800D terminal represents the 6th generation of SkyWave’s field-proven DMR product series and was purpose-built for use with the SkyWave IsatM2M network—Ottawa, Ontario
