TechStart, LLC has debuted their Rapid Deployment Communications (RDC) Flyaway Kit (TSL-100RDC). The kit is based on the ICG Core Iridium System (CIS-100) and offers a ready-to-go voice and data communications management system for use on the move, literally anywhere on the planet.
The RDC Flyaway Kit is rugged, overhead bin-sized, and encryption-capable. The kit is designed for integration into existing intercom or voice systems, can manage multiple telephony and data devices as well as provide full conference and call-transfer features and fax capability. The TSL-100RDC incorporates a lightweight SATCOM terminal and is capable of NSA Type 1 or Type 4 (Advanced Encryption Standard—AES) secure communications. These capabilities give every mission and incident commander full-service global reach-back as a primary or supplemental communications link.
