Two U.S. Army contracts have been awarded to Comtech Telecommunications Corporation totaling $34 million. One contract will have the Comtech Mobile Datacom Corporation, a subsidiary unit in Germantown, Maryland, supplying the National Guard with satellite tracking equipment and support to the tune of $31.2 million. The second contract is to support the deployment of the Republic of Georgia’s army in the Middle East with a satellite communications system, bringing in $2.8 million to the company.
