SkyWave Creates Waves By Joining Global M2M Alliance

[SatNews] The M2M sector has seen tremendous growth and is expected to continue this trend well into the coming decade.

SkyWave joins one of the largest associations for the machine-to-machine sector to reiterate its commitment to enhancing the customer experience

SkyWave Mobile Communications, a global provider of satellite and satellite-cellular based communications for the machine-to-machine (M2M) market, announced today that it has joined the M2M Alliance, a coalition of companies created to promote M2M technologies and solutions.

The M2M sector has seen tremendous growth and is expected to continue this trend well into the coming decade. Joining an alliance opens up opportunities for companies in the M2M sector to build partnerships that promote cooperative development while building a solid M2M business case by focusing on a specific aspect of the market.  For SkyWave, this cooperation will increase the quality of our offering and will support the development of our M2M services.

“Joining the M2M Alliance creates a unique opportunity for us to promote all the different aspects of our M2M communications solutions, a value that we can then pass on to our customers,” says Sue Rutherford, Director Marketing at SkyWave.  “We are looking forward to being an active contributor to the alliance by exchanging innovative ideas and valuable experiences with some of the other industry participants and supporting the alliance’s efforts to globally enhance the business environment of M2M solutions.”
