For the full fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, Eutelsat Group reported a 69.5 percent surge in revenues from its OneWeb low Earth orbit (LEO) constellation, reaching €297 million ($325 million).

The rapid commercial expansion of the LEO network now accounts for approximately 25 percent of Eutelsat’s total annual revenues, validating the satellite operator’s multi-orbit strategic pivot.
The fourth-quarter and full-year financial results highlight accelerating commercial adoption across enterprise broadband, government communications, maritime operations, and aviation connectivity markets as global LEO coverage reaches full operational maturity.
Multi-Orbit Integration and Revenue Synergy
The financial milestone marks a significant operational turning point following the formal completion of the Eutelsat and OneWeb combination in September 2023. By combining geostationary (GEO) high-throughput satellites with the OneWeb LEO constellation, Eutelsat has positioned itself as the primary multi-orbit operator competing directly against non-geostationary broadband providers like Starlink and Project Kuiper.
Unlike traditional GEO broadcast services, which face headwinds from video cord-cutting, the LEO segment has experienced consistent double-digit quarterly revenue growth. As documented in earlier financial disclosures regarding Eutelsat Group’s Q3 performance, the growth trajectory is underpinned by high-margin enterprise service contracts, land mobility solutions, and multi-orbit military communications infrastructure deployed for European and allied defense agencies.
Commercial Expansion Across Mobility and Government Markets
The LEO revenue expansion is supported by major wholesale distribution agreements signed with global telecommunications carriers, system integrators, and mobility providers. Key operational drivers contributing to the €297 million revenue figure include:
- In-Flight Connectivity: Rapid deployment of dual-beam LEO/GEO terminals across commercial airline fleets, delivering low-latency broadband to passenger cabins.
- Maritime Broadband: Expansion of high-throughput LEO services for cruise liners, commercial shipping fleets, and offshore energy platforms requiring continuous connectivity in remote ocean corridors.
- Government and Defense Solutions: Growing adoption of low-latency tactical networks by NATO members and national defense authorities seeking secure, jam-resistant orbital backhaul.
- Enterprise and Land Mobility: Turnkey cellular backhaul agreements with mobile network operators to extend 4G and 5G coverage across underserved rural regions.
The ability to blend low-latency LEO capacity with wide-beam GEO coverage allows Eutelsat to offer guaranteed service level agreements (SLAs) tailored to mission-critical enterprise customers.

Long-Term Financial Outlook and Constellation Roadmap
Eutelsat Group expects the proportion of revenue generated by its LEO operations to increase further in fiscal year 2027 as additional ground gateways come online and user terminal manufacturing scales. The company continues to advance procurement plans for its second-generation OneWeb constellation (OneWeb Gen 2), designed to deliver enhanced capacity, higher spectral efficiency, and direct integration with 3GPP Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) standards.
