The launch will take place at Space Launch Complex 40 at 2:36 – 5:48 PDT where historically 256 rockets have launched, including 256 orbital launch attempts, while Cape Canaveral, Florida has been the site for 969 rocket launches.
The weather forecast looks favorable, so far, with reports of a temperature of 79°F, scattered clouds, 33% cloud cover and a wind speed of 9mph.

Next day, Wednesday, August 21, SpaceX will launch another batch of Starlink Group 9-5 satellites from Vandenberg AFB, California at 1:47 AM – 5:47 AM PDT into Low Earth Orbit at a cost of $52,000,000
Following stage separation, Falcon 9 will land on Landing Zone 4 (LZ-4) at Vandenberg Space Force Base.
