L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) has an agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to produce and demonstrate advanced networking and sensor fusion capabilities across a distributed battlespace.
Under the agreement, the companies are pursuing innovative projects that will provide the military with near-real time access to diverse datasets. In combination with artificial intelligence, these datasets can be used to cognitively and predictively update advanced radars and sensors across domains, increasing platform survivability and resiliency.
Both L3Harris and AWS are committed to developing open architecture solutions, driving functionality and interoperability for global customers. L3Harris and AWS are currently supporting the U.S. Air Force Digital Infrastructure consortium, which supports Advanced Battle Management System and Joint All-Domain Command and Control initiatives. This new agreement builds upon insights from that effort and others.
