Descartes Labs Government Will Showcase ALL-INT Data Fusion For Autonomous Target Tracking At Planetary Scale At GEOINT

April 19, 2022

Descartes Labs Government, a solutions provider of geospatial intelligence originating out of Los Alamos National Laboratory, will showcase ALL-INT data fusion for autonomous detection and tracking of targets across the integrated battlespace at planetary scale during GEOINT 2022.

Descartes Labs Government will host a series of workshops and demonstrations, including a Main Stage presentation in the Innovative Tradecraft Finals.

“At GEOINT, we will demonstrate the full range of capabilities offered by the Descartes Labs Platform and Data Refinery to support the Defense & Intelligence Community in missions related to Global Readiness, Space Domain Awareness, Decision Intelligence, and Geopolitical Insights,” said Janie Robinson, President of Descartes Labs Government.

The cloud-based Descartes Labs Platform can process and analyze massive volumes of ALL-INT data to perform predictive analytics and conduct broad-area searches persistently on a global scale to detect objects, track change over time, and recognize patterns using machine learning algorithms and computer vision technology.

Descartes Labs Government’s presentations are open to all GEOINT 2022 attendees; however, the training workshops require advance registration and a small USGIF fee. GEOINT 2022 will be held April 24-27, 2022, at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora (Denver), Colorado.

The schedule of Descartes Labs Government activities is as follows:

  • Innovative Tradecraft Competition Finals – Main Stage, 9:45 am Tues., April 26 Dr. Shawana Johnson, CSO Descartes Labs Government, will present “Global 5G Chinese Domination: Reducing the Communication Network ‘Attack Surface’ Universally” where she will introduce unique ways to secure network data with a DOD network partner, SCATR, while providing GEOINT precise analytics with open-source data. (Winner will be determined by audience vote!)
  • Training Workshops – Register for both at https://usgif.org/symposium-training/. Space is limited. Please bring laptop to second session. Session 1 – Tuesday, April 26, 7:30-8:30 am (Workshop ID #143) “Autonomous Sensing of Targets with ALL-INT Fusion Capabilities for Immediate Workforce Engagement” (Room Willow Lake 5)
  • Session 2 – Tuesday, April 26, 2:00-3:00 pm (Workshop ID #153) “Hands-On Guided Training for Autonomous Sensing of Targets with ALL-INT Fusion Basics on a Planetary-Scale Cloud-Based Platform” (Homestead 1) — More info at this direct infolink…

Booth Demos + Presentations by Descartes Labs in Booth #2008

  • Tues., April 26, 11:00-11:30 am, Will Evonosky “Autonomous Tracking and Target Detection”
  • Tues, April 26, 12:30-1:00 pm, Dr. Shawana Johnson, GISP “5G and SATCOM Influences and Increased Attack Surfaces”
  • Tues, April 26, 3:30-4:00 pm, Nicole Toigo “Powered by DLG: HPC at Planetary Scale for Automated Solutions and Insights”
  • Wed., April 27, 10:30-11:00 am, Will Evonosky “Autonomous Tracking and Target Detection”
  • Wed., April 27, 11:00-11:30 am, Nicole Toigo “Powered by DLG: HPC at Planetary Scale for Automated Solutions and Insights”

Members of the Descartes Labs team will be on hand in booth 2008 throughout GEOINT 2022 to discuss the Descartes Labs Platform and development of custom ISR solutions, geospatial data ingestion pipelines, and automated object detection and classification for D&I customers.
