
[SatNews] The Russian Satellite Communication Company (RSCC) announces the successful transfer of the Express AM22 satellite's traffic load to their Express-AM6, which is slotted at 53 degrees East.

Company specialists have now started the mission to move Express-ÐМ22 from its current 53 degrees East orbital position to 80.1 degrees East. The plan is for the Express-AM22 satellite to start operations in its new orbital slot on August 5, 2015.
RSCC is the Russian state satellite operator whose spacecraft provide global coverage. RSCC was founded in 1967 and is one of the ten largest world satellite operators in terms of the number of satellites and occupied orbital slots. The company possesses the largest satellite constellation in Russia. The company's satellites are located in the orbital arc from 14 degrees West to 145 degrees East and cover the entire territory of Russia, the CIS, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Asia Pacific region, North and South America, and Australia.
