…Authorities, OnAir has been granted authorization for its airline customers to provide Internet OnAir, the inflight WiFi service, within Australian airspace. OnAir’s customers currently operating WiFi services on flights to Australia, including Emirates, Qantas and Singapore Airlines, can now capitalize on this new authorization, meaning passengers can use WiFi throughout the flight, including over Australian airspace.
OnAir has, for the past seven years, built strong relationships with national telecommunications regulators to ensure its inflight connectivity solutions meet their requirements. This has been a significant contributing factor to the growth of inflight connectivity, and in particular in OnAir’s market leadership.
