Talia Speednet
Talia SpeedNet is a Talia service developed specifically to improve Internet access over satellite. The SpeedNet servers use advanced caching, pre-fetching, and optimization algorithms to improve Internet access. It is hosted at the Talia Teleport, and is automatically enabled for all Talia Broadband customers.
Talia SpeedNet is automatically enabled for all Talia Broadband customers. Customers with Talia Dedicated, Talia Trunk, Talia BackupNet, Talia Pre-Pay Wholesale, and Talia Wholesale can alter their router settings in order to use Talia SpeedNet. If you do not have a Talia service, you cannot use Talia SpeedNet.
Talia Safenet
Talia SafeNet intelligently filters Internet content to provide a more family-friendly connection. It is suited for families with children, schools, and other areas where unrestricted Internet access might be unwelcome. Talia SafeNet runs a series of search strings against content and dynamically rates it. It specifically looks for pornographic and violent and filters them out. In addition, a URL blacklist is used, which enhances the dynamic results. The blacklist is updated weekly. Despite all this, Talia SafeNet does not slow down Internet access.
Talia SafeNet is an add-on to Talia Broadband. It has a separate voucher which automatically sends users through the SafeNet servers. You can buy SafeNet-enabled vouchers from any Talia Broadband Channel Partner. Customers with Talia Dedicated, Talia Trunk, Talia Backup, Talia Pre-Pay Wholesale, and Talia Wholesale can alter their router settings in order to use Talia SafeNet.
