VISLINK News and Entertainment has established VISLINK (China) Limited, a joint venture company with an extensive distributor of broadcast equipment in China. The Joint Venture has been created to serve VISLINK’s broadcast and related industry customers and resellers throughout the Peoples Republic of China. VISLINK (China) Limited, registered in Hong Kong, will become VISLINK’s Master Distributor for China and will provide Sales, Marketing, Pre-Sales Engineering, Customer Support and related services.
“The formation of VISLINK (China) Limited is timely and we look forward to it supporting the aggressive growth plans of China’s News Gathering industry” said Mr. Zheng-Yi, General Manager of CCTV Kehua Media Productions Ltd, an affiliate of China Central Television (CCTV) China’s national broadcaster.
“VISLINK’s satellite communications, wireless camera systems, microwave links and TCP/IP products are highly regarded by broadcasters in China” added Chris Wilson, Director of VISLINK (China) Limited. “This new joint venture permits us to focus on serving these broadcasters, and to further develop new opportunities, both within and beyond the broadcast industry.”
VISLINK (China) Limited, which will be headquartered in Beijing, will act as Master Distributor for current and future channel partners in China and will be the company’s primary interface to customers in the country. Its remit is limited to the PRC and named global customers may be excluded from this contractual arrangement.
