AAE System’s ECT product
ECT operates independent of terrestrial infrastructure via satellite connectivity, making it ideal for towing to areas where terrestrial communications infrastructure is non-existent, damaged, destroyed, or overloaded. A highly customizable solution, the ECT can be outfitted with a collection of wired and wireless voice, data, and video subsystems. Each subsystem is selected based on its ability to meet mission specific requirements. Equipped with fully integrated and interoperable communications systems including WiMax and auxiliary radio, the ECT extends voice, data, and video communications to the deployed area in an Everything-over-IP environment.
Designed as a self-contained autonomous communications platform, the ECT can be quickly deployed virtually anywhere in the world. In less than 20 minutes, it establishes vital communications coverage to remote, isolated, or disaster locations. The ECT is air transportable via commercial aircraft, military aircraft, or helicopter. With an on-board power generator, extended run fuel tank, and environmental controlled electronics enclosure, the ECT supports up to 48 hours of continuous operation without refueling, depending on loading. An external power service connection is included for extended run operation if a separate power source is available.
Providing a command and control communications platform; the ability for rapid deployment; and with features for easy transport; the ECT is ideal for military tactical operations, disaster recovery operations, mobile facility operation; interim operations; or other applications where immediate, extensive, and flexible communications are required. As a provider of comprehensive ICT solutions, AAE brings expertise in the design and deployment of wireless and terrestrial telecommunications solutions, data center infrastructure, mobile communications solutions, signal repeating stations, radar and surveillance equipment, e-government and e-learning platforms.
