Get Ready For ISCe 2008

Hannover Fairs USA, Inc. has announced the conference program for its 7th annual ISCe International Conference and Exhibition. ISCe 2008, scheduled for June 10-12 in San Diego, California, will focus on “Access to SATCOM for the Next Decade.” The conference will feature a combo of three of the most important communications events for the commercial satellite, military, and government markets under one roof.

This year’s Day One Program, organized by the World Teleport Association (WTA) and the Global VSAT Forum (GVF), will provide a full complement of sessions geared around “Continuity of Government: Network Solutions in Peace and Crisis.” Sessions include:

• Communications and Continuity of Government: An Overview
• Expecting the Worst: Emergency Management Communications in Uncertain Times
• Disaster Communications: Rewriting the Rules, Setting the Parameters
• Communications and Border Security: It’s More Than Just Building a Fence
• Energy Source and Infrastructure Protection

Day Two will feature ISCe’s signature “Military and Government Requirements Forum.” Sessions include:

• DoD’s Double Imperative: Global Connectivity at Higher Speeds . . . in an Age of Cyber Threats
• Coordinating the “Comms”: PACOM; STRATCOM; CENTCOM; NORTHCOM; EUCOM

Day Three consists of the highly popular 2nd Annual Navy SATCOM Users Workshop organized by SPAWAR and the Satellite Industry Association (SIA). Sessions include:

• Satellite Applications to Support the Mobile Warfighter
