AMOS-3 Back On Track
Spacecom has announced their AMOS-3 communications satellite will now launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on Monday, May 28th, with the launch window for the satellite open at 8:00 a.m., Israel time. The AMOS constellation consists of AMOS-1 and AMOS-2 co-located at the orbital position of 4° W. The satellites serve DTH and other TV platforms in Europe and the Middle East, as well as transmissions for government agencies. AMOS-3 will offer extended coverage as well as new capabilities, such as Ka-band and steerable beams with global coverage.
