Paradise’ New SatModem Quadling Along
Now debuting from Paradise Datacom is the company’s Vision-Series DVB S2 modem, built on the field-proven platform of their Evolution high-speed IP satellite modem featuring a host of IP features and remotely-accessible diagnostics tools. The internal Quad ASI multiplexer provides the ability to transmit four separate ASI streams with a single modem. The Vision Series Modems features include — DVB-S2 (EN302307), DVB-DSNG (EN301210) and DVB-S (EN300421) compliant — PD80 (IF) and PD80L (L-band) versions available — Built-in support for DVB-S2 Constant Coding and Modulation (CCM) — Variable Coding and Modulation (VCM) ready – by software upgrade — Supports QPSK, 8PSK, 16QAM and 16APSK modulation — ASI and Gigabit Ethernet traffic interfaces — IP-EZ feature-set includes in-built TCP Acceleration, HTTP Acceleration, Header Compression, Ethernet Bridge — IP over DVB supports both Multi-Protocol Encapsulation (MPE) and Ultra Lightweight Encapsulation (ULE).
