Another home run by Raytheon, as the company has just received a $75 million from the U.S. Air Force to upgrade the Minuteman Minimum Essential Emergency Communications Network. This network is a critical communications tool between the President, Department of Defense (DoD) and warfighters in the field. Raytheon Network Centric Systems in Marlborough, Massachusetts, will develop as well as support this system of ground-based communication terminals, with hopes all will be ready by late next year for testing and evaluation—Waltham, Massachusetts
