A $505 million contract has been awarded by the U.S. Air Force to United Launch Alliance (ULA). This contract is for the firm to provide launch services for three National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) satellites. They’ll be launched via Delta IV rockets under the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) program. ULA will provide production, assembly, integration of hardware and launch vehicle check out. Of the three missions under this contract, two will launch from Space Launch Complex 37 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida and the third from Launch Complex 6 at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. Launch dates for these mission will be determined at a later time. February 26th is the scheduled date for the next ULA launch, that being a NRO satellite aboard an Atlas V rocket from Vandenburg—Denver, Colorado
