The plan is to speed up critical maps, imagery and other geospatial data delivery to global users through a streamlining process currently being worked on by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and Lockheed Martin [NYSE:LMT]. At the heart of the work is the Demand-Based Geospatial Intelligence (DBGI) program and is an automated supply chain management subsystem that allows users to request and access geospatial data in the format and delivery method of their choosing. DBGI will make the request and delivery process more flexible and adaptable to the user. In example, some may require large-format, hard copy maps for priting to rigorous specs for resolution and color depth. Others might wish to receive a downloadable, digital map they can then print from their location. DGBI gives each user the flexilbility to define their own requirements via a web-based request system. Teamed with Lockheed Martin to provide the supply chain management software and expertise for DBGI is One Network Enterprises—Bethesda, Maryland
