Miteq has, once again, been extremely busy producing new products. First up is the MITEQ Uplink Power Control Unit product line addition of the UPC-L version. This control unit offers the Earth station operator/designer control of the full L-band bandwidth of 950 to 2150 MHz. The UPC-L RF signal path uses internal bias tees and diplexers on the center conductor to provide DC and 10 MHz through path in the attenuator. Such allows the user to pass the 10 MHz reference signal and DC bias from a modem through the UPC-L and out to a block upconverter.
Their next product is their new Switchable Band Test Loop Translator product line, all designed to translate the C-, X- and Ku-bands to their respective receive frequency bands. Impressive! The units feature minimum amplitude and delay distortion as well as high frequency stability, low intermodulation and phase noise contribution. The units are available with 10/100 Base-T Ethernet and RS485/422 remote interfaces. This series replaced the company’s 8600 series—Hauppague, New York
