Phenomtastic! That happens to be the most accurate phrasing I can offer regarding the SatNews Publishers participation in this week’s MILCOM 2007 in Orlando, Florida. This list of exhibitors and speakers was a gathering of the best in the milsatcom and ancillary business environs. Despite some rather inclement weather (a tropical depression sat off the Florida coast for a couple of days), the attendees were enthusiastic, delighted with the displays and information, and the availability of subject matter experts from the technical, marketing, management and implementation sides of the businesses and military commands was truly outstanding.
In fact, MILCOM 2007 was so exceptional for us, and the response to our MilsatMagazine publication so genuinely enthusiastic, Silvano Payne, our publisher, made the decision to increase the number of issues from one per quarter to 6x per year. You can expect our coverage of the milsatcom industry to continue to be “spot on” as we look forward to serving our readers in whatever way we can to increase your knowledge, or share of, this burgeoning industry.
Our SatMagazine, which focuses on the commercial side of this industry, will continue as a monthly with additional content, ranging from interesting features, interviews and case studies to focus articles and more!
